"Bliss-Turned-Savage" returned to the Ultra-Realm via the mirror over a tavern in the Darklands, having unintentionally directed himself toward the architects behind Falkon's execution, Squamonton and Zorla. Michael Savage recognizes in the Prince of War the same eyes as the Viet Cong warlord that had captured and tortured him, leading Zorla to confess his influence in that matter, as well. "Falkon" handles Zorla's soldiers well enough in swordplay, but is mortally wounded by the lord's own battle ax. Fleeing on horseback, Savage is eventually visited by Satorana, who gives their life to again restore Falkon to full health. Savage-Falkon then returns to Lashtarr's keep, to collect the fading Scala and ride his chariot back to Bliss' keep.

On Earth, Janice, Eddie, and Tank reach Bangkok, then enter the jungle. Dodging the Khmer Rouge in the former Cambodia, now Kampuchea, they make their way toward the aged shapeshifting mystic Savage had been mentored by after his capture. Meanwhile, with Janice having escaped him, Murkon murders dozens of people to absorb enough souls to cross over into the Ultra-Realm. Via mirrors, he's been in near constant contact with Shatragon, who has guided much of his activities on Earth. Left with a particular appetite by Murkon's spree, the Prince of Chaos devours one of his own loyal servants.

Finally, indignant over the perceived murder of the Prince(ss) of Enlightenment, Viridium leads the other surviving Lords of Light to reunite with their now tainted souls to confront Michael Savage, shattering Bliss' mirror anew, while Myridian and Mortanos circle above Falkon's keep.
